Design My Post is a one woman show, it is run by me, Angela and I have worked with computers for some twenty years now.
I didn’t start my journey in design; my first love with technology began when I was given an old bulky 486 PC many many years ago. It needed a sound card and internet and only came with a floppy drive, the operating system was Windows 3.1! I spent some time upgrading it, adding hardware and upgrading the software learning on the way. These new found interests lead me to volunteer with Computer Aid international, working in their warehouse re-vamping donated PC’s and laptops.
I was in my aliment surrounded by hard drives and cables and thoroughly enjoyed bring life back to the old computers! I carried on feeding my passion and returned to college to complete a number of computer courses in maintenance, programming and software, expanding my knowledge further.
As computers have developed so has my knowledge, the way we use computers nowadays is very different from my early encounters with a 486 and it is still an ever changing world.
At Design My Post we focus on social media design. Creating branded and un-branded graphics and banners for the variety of social media platforms we have now, promoting and making your business look the best it can.
